A man in a dinner jacket is waiting for his wife to get dressed for the opera. She tries all sorts of outfits and when looking at herself in the mirror imagines herself in that outfit at the opera. She gets more and more dissatisfied, until the man tears up the invitations and hands her a pair of blue-jeans. She dresses casually, they go to a bar where live blues is played and they have a good relaxed time.
