The first series was made much earlier than their first broadcast date in 1968, possibly as early as 1958. The introduction of commercials on Dutch TV came on January 1st (or 2nd?) 1967, but the "Reclameraad" (Commercials Council) did not authorize publicity for alcoholic beverages in the first year.
The very first spot shown on TV was VISITE, on January 1st 1968, first day when alcoholic beverages commercials were authorized. The first six spots shown in February and March 1968 were: Kaarten in café + TV Kwis + Kantoor/thuis komen + Booschappen doen + Visite + Voetballen
All films start with the same introduction and end sequences, of which there exist two versions, very similar but made of different shots. All thirteen stories are unique
First series (1):
Intro on song "Heerlijk, helder, Heineken":
- man's arm lowers a bottle into the frame, opens it
- beer is poured in glass (background wood table)
- foam rising in glass
- foam rising in glass, closer
End:
- 2 bottles poured in 2 glasses
- tray with 2 bottles and 2 glasses
- hands holding glasses enter frame simultaneously, male hand from the right, female hand with a wedding ring on the left, glasses clink
- man's hand holding glass, zoom in on logo on glass
Second series (2):

- man's arm brings a bottle into the frame sideways, opens it
- beer is poured in glass (background formica table)
